Today at the Mulholland lookout, a black S14 pulls up and then takes off, then the screech of crossing the double yellows and the driver of the car didn't realize that it's heavliy enforced by the Highway Patrol/Sheriff's, on one of the corners midway down, the inevitable the bad sound of to much power over and loud crunch. Both drivers are very lucky to have walked away but had it been a cyclist or a motorbike rider the turn out would have been fatal.

Keep it safe out there and take it to the track.

I just can not believe what this guy did, I mean there are about 5 Chippys that are defecated for this section of road and + a ghetto bird keeping an eye on the road as well. At the time all of us were chilling at the look out it was about 5 lotus, 1 GTR, couple of ZO6's, my self and a couple of crotch rockets were all shooting the chit and the S14 stops and then takes off, and starts crossing the yellow and we all seen him take it way to fast and then the death recoil drift slide and then a crunch, me and someone else drove down with to render aid and luckily the driver they hit was in a Jeep.

Thank god no one was killed.

He took off normally and after the 1st corner the photo guy name paul yelled at him to stay on his side of the road and the driver of the s14 was crossing yellows and sliding all over the place and when he hit that decreasing radius turn everyone seen it was too much speed in and no control, Next the death recoil drift. - Loud CRUNCH !.


Jumped into the Kia mobile rescue unit and ran over to the jeep driver to calm him down and the guy driving the kia had to run a traffic break and slow down others so they would not smash into the stopped corners mid corner.

News flash, most of the 240 crowd have been viewed in a negative light for years because of ass hats like this. Oh and the guy who crashed is actually a really nice guy. he works at the local auto parts store. yeah he made a big mistake and I am sure he feels stupid for what he did but everyone makes bad choices at one point or another. Now had he used his head this would have never happened and most the locals know that whole area is under heavy patrol right now aka canyon sweeps. they are trying to prevent stupid shit like this from happening. either way he paid the price by not only losing his car but he got humiliated on zilvia.

One of the first west coast drift teams was origined in Thousand Oaks, a few lap reccords at willow were set by drivers from augora and new bury park, now yes there are many posers around this area but you can not say that you do not see more that come from LA that just finished watching fast and the furious hopped up from the couch and took the honda out thinking its a race car. Wednesday night - not a good idea - 6 CHP cars show up block the road

3 cars impounded on a 30 day + 2 arrests.



Last weekend a yellow 350z shows up and from second hand info its UC officer who busted 4 people and took in a whole bunch of cars. Idk if any one can confirm this or ?


This past Sunday 8/29 - around 11am - sport bikes heading up and minding their own business but a couple of tools riding Harley were speeding down hill lost it and crashed head on to the sport bike riders, one guy on the sport bike was road rashed really bad and his fellow rider on the other sport bike was thrown down the mtn side, and it's about 100ft off the side and down the cliff from the road. The rider who was thrown from his motor bike landed on his back where there were loose rocks, I was the only one at the time who had long sleeve pants and shirt on that allowed me to go into the dense brush and help the downed rider until the search and rescue showed up, he was able to still move but he was in a crap load of pain. Luckily there were others who stopped and help and rendered as much aid as possible until EMT and search and rescue showed up.

What is worse is that 911 was not picking up and i had to call the local sheriffs station and call for rescue, sheriffs were on scene with in 3min, search and rescue about 8min after the call, 911/chp didnt show up for a good 20/30 min.

so just as I have said before ride and drive safe. There is also video I will post up of it later.

Soooooooooooooooo important to have a 1st aid kit in the car and know basic 1st aid to help until people arrive, but never touch anyone unless they give you permission to move them or help them.

Best thing to do is just keep them company and get as much info from them and ask :who, what, when , how and most importantly names and people's phone #'s to give to the EMT's when they arrive...............

this was the rider who is for the most part very lucky to be alive...............................


and the story: happened aug 29th towards the top section of "the snake" on Mulholland at around 1pm in case any of you were there. A friend and myself were taking a few laps and on our final run back up is when it happened. My friend was in the lead spot, and as we were coming out of a mellow right curve about to make a sharper left, a harley rider that was going WAY too fast, shot over the line coming at us. He first hit my friend in the front left section of his GSXR (the bike standing up in the video), sending my friend to the ground, and his bike sliding like a top across the road, the rider once hitting my friend came straight at me, and since I was already in the lean of the right turn, I knew I couldnt brake it or else I would have slid out and he or the other riders behind him would have T-boned and killed me. So I luckily dodged the guy by inches (and honestly think I may have knicked him, but I cant be sure), only to be in a direct path for my now sliding friend on the ground. So instead of using him as a guaranteed way of breaking his back and sending me over the bars, I dodged him just in the knick of time to the only clear opening between the madness... and that's when it happened... my friends bike spun straight into my path, and it became a launch ramp for both me and my bike. I hit the bike, and it bunny hopped me into the air, just high and far enough to let me land about 3 feet away from the edge of the cliff. I went off the side with just enough time to purposely aim for the tree tops. As I flew through the air all I could think about was grabbing every branch and tree limb I could see in order to slow down my descent. As I was falling, I was welcoming death, I knew I stood very little chance of survival. When I came slamming down against some rocks and came to rest, I was in shock that I was breathing and conscious. At first I thought I was paralyzed since I couldn't move my arms, but once I was able to wiggle my now shoe-less feet, things were looking better. I will say that the paramedics and civilians on scene were amazing. I was told my bike laid 150 feet from the road, and I was about 2 feet away from my bike. I was wearing gear, but not completely. Armored jacket, helmet, gloves, Shift Kevlar jeans, and street shoes was what I was wearing. I decided not to wear my full leathers simply because I went to the beach, and honestly, for this specific crash it wouldn't have made a difference. After search and rescue wrenched me up, I was airlifted to UCLA medical center where they took great care of me.

I'm lucky to be alive, Im lucky to be walking, I'm lucky to be breathing, I'm lucky to be typing. After falling 150' through trees and landing on rocks, my total injuries are: two broken bones in the left arm, dislocated and torn left shoulder, two broken shoulder blades, and a complete grade III AC separation of the right shoulder. Surgery is going to be a must for both shoulders, and its going to be a long recovery. I'm in double slings for now (luckily no casts), so I kinda resemble a T-Rex. Not being able to use my arms, plus the pain in the shoulders is pretty bad. But all in all, Im very lucky to be alive. The ironic part of this all, my friend and I were riding angeles crest a month before this happened, and he died going off the edge just like I did. It makes ya sit and think...

But anyway, thanks for reading my story, and be safe out there everyone!!!
