Get a heat gun and carefully remove it. Do it a couple of inches at a time and don't leave the gun in one spot for long...it will melt paint.:o If an adhesive residue is left get some GooGone and give it a good scrub down...then re-wax.

Wow I was going to post this exact same question today! Would a hair dryer work?

I don't see why not, but it'd probably take longer since it doesn't get as hot.

using a hair dryer is a lot safer for the paint itself, but as lances13 said, it will take you a little longer, using a heat gun and some cold water in a spray bottle is a little quicker, just depends on how meticulous you are...if i were doing it, i'd use the hair dryer....

they also make plastic detailing razors that don't hurt paint. they work well for those #### dealership logo's, and pin-stripping. A hair dryer works too. Just a pain in the ass to cary an extension cord out to the car.. unless you have a garage.. (lucky
[email protected]@rds) We used those all the time when detailing cars at the dealership.
If you have access to an air gun/pump, you can buy an accessorie thats like a big circular eraser...I took off the ugly factory stripes off my 89 this weekend, if its a single line, it took about two minutes to go one of side of the car.
