I haven't been able to find this yet but I haven't given up looking. I'm trying to find new contacts for harness connectors so I can re-pin instead of cut and soldering.

no worries. I'm getting everything together. It just takes forever. I started the thread back in July. a lot of dead ends between then and now.
i think the concern for most will be crimping, not sourcing.
Just to clarify I have terminals, not the housings, although I am working on them too. The reason it's so hard to find info is because once someone figures out how to get this stuff It's easy to turn around and charge a premium. That and the fact that wiring is a bit of a bastard in itself.
When i have what i need I'll post it. I'm not gonna throw up a half hatched parts list. In the mean time I have a sack of terminals for sr sensors(tps, cas, injectors, ignitor) and some other odds and ends.

A little bit of progress. I can get brand new connector housings and retainers for CAS/TPS/coilpack/Ignitor. Bad news... minimum order qty is a bit of a bastard. Def not able to order in 2's and 3's. I might have to become a supplier to be able to get them out to the community. Not my intention. I'm still working on it though. Worst case scenario I'll sell them on the cheap.

So far i've found some connector bodies and retainers. Have some terminals. Need different wire size terminals primarily.

Yeah, Im down for terminals. I would rather run new accessory 12v wires and repin when I move the relay box. I have several with hot spots showing on the insulation.
EDIT:: If we could do a variety pack for like 20-40 terminals of each style Nissan uses I would be way in. I'm sure there are enough other people that are digging into their harness where we could split up a bulk order.

I just sent a po for bulk 3 way CAS/Coil pack connector housings and retainers. I'm also in negotiations with a sullplier to replace all the sumitomo connectors of that particular syle with updated units. I think I'll sell individual kits or a whole harness kit, consisting of new housings/retainers/terminals/wire seals. The hardest part now is finding distributors who can do regular bulk instead of uber bulk. I talked to a distributor who was talking 5-10k pieces! I think this other distributor I'm talking to will work better. He's talking about bags of 100 pcs. Thats a little more reasonable. I still need terminals for heavier gauge wire but the pieces of the puzzle are coming together.
I'd list part numbers but several of the connectors are not standard catalog part numbers. They are the same parts from the catalog just with a nissan specific number. I've been looking over technical drawings and there are several cases of this happening.
Another myth I would like to dispell is that the engine harness connectors are all yazaki. There are only 2 yazaki connectors on the whole engine harness! The rest are mostly sumitomo.
The two engine-chassis plugs aka the grey and brown plugs are yazaki. I can get terminals for these but they are very expensive and I wish i could find a better deal on them. Housings are mia thus far but like i said I'm working on it.
When I finish compiling everything I'll post it all up and offer it for sale at minimum mark-up. I make good money so I'm not out for profit. I figure even if i organize all the info someone will still have buy in bulk to get them.
I'd like to maybe branch out and offer materials for a whole diy mil-spec harness. Don't know how much interest I'll have in that though. Just have to wait and see, although anything mil-spec is easy to come by compared to 20 year old japanese electrical components lol.

If you get a terminal kit that will cover a large portion of the chassis harness primarily (engine harness would be a plus) I am way in. Just let me know.
EDIT: Im breaking down my engine harness into sub harnesses terminating at the firewall so I can keep as much of the wire inside the cabin as possible.
6 mating pairs of these came in last week.

Only place I found with decent connector pricing for single units was http://www.mouser.com/
That's only if you're going to re-wire the components though.
As for the stockers, I couldn't find anything for purchase. Found out which Yazaki family the applicable plugs came from, but no sellers. Couldn't get a line on Sumitomo at all, at least nothing that matches the S Chassis. Hope I helped a little there.

I'm waiting for my taxes to do a big purchase. Going to be:
-3 position connector housing used for coilpacks etc
-Retainers for 3 position connectors
-Terminals for 2,3,4,5 position "coilpack style connectors" (18-22awg wire)
-Terminals for the brown and grey chassis plugs (expensive)
I'm buying reels because thats where the deals are on the terminals, connectors are a bastard though, 500pc sacks, 2k of the retainers.
Since I picked up my haltech I don't really have a full SR harness anymore. I do have a ka24e harness but i don't have a dual cam ka harness anymore. I know there are breakdowns of harnesses on zilvia so I will use that as a guide for putting things together. Once you familiarize yourself with the connector series used they are pretty identify.

The verdict on trying to find general consumer retailers for the components of the nissan harnesses = utterly hopeless.
The good news. I'm stocking up for anyone who needs anything. Just bought a sack of goodies from the motherland. 1k or the housings and 2k of the retainers. Terminals are pending. These work on TPS and coilpacks. So when you melt your coilpack connectors, i will hook you up.

try search, there're a lot you can find over google...like there:

I've finally procured terminals for this series or connectors. Would anybody be interested in picking some up if I buy in bulk(cheaper).
These would be new pins for:
-injectors
-coilpacks
-tps
-cas
-water temp
-ignitor

Honestly, not as cheap as I'd like. The terminals run upwards of .50 each. Mostly due to them being obsolete. There is almost 40 of these in the harness so it would run something like $20 for all of these specific style pins based on 50/ea. If I can generate enough interest I'll throw down.

So this pretty much fizzled out?

Still working on it. Just been on the back burner until I get real interest. Especially with everyone moving towards lsx etc.

Totally understandable. There will be a day where I will go over my whole harness and make changes.

Any chance you've run across someplace that sells the connector that plugs in to the stock Consult connectors? The only reseller I've found wants $18 a pop.
