my tail lights and dash lights stopped working and i can't figure out the problem. i checked the bulbs and grounds, they were fine. I checked every fuse and they were also fine. the dash dimmer is connected so that can't be the problem either. i used a multimeter and checked the tail light switch and theres no power going to it.
so does anyone have any info on this? i know that dash and tail lights run on the same circuit but i can't locate the problem.
thanks.

You sure you didnt popped a fuse? My S14 did this and ended up with a blown fuse. Changed the fuse, still popped. Ended up troubleshooting it down to a power wire from the kick panel fuse box to the wire that powers up the gauge cluster. Cut the power wire into the cluster and put in a different 12v power source to it and fixed my problem.
I cant remember which circuit was for the life of me tho, atleast while not looking at a wiring diagram...
