What all is needed to put a DOHC engine into a 1989' s13 which has a SOHC motor??

My buddy bought a 89' for $1000 and it supposedly had a spun crank bearing but it turned out the whole motor was rusted inside so he has this car just sitting until he decides what to do. Rebuilt the SOHC or buy a DOHC and do the work. He's chosen convert it to DOHC =)

He does want to turbo the car eventually so im thinking DOHC motor would be best but is it worth all the effort, I hear theres a lot that needs to be done and replaced to swap it in but I have no idea what he needs to do it.

So what all do we need to put a DOHC motor into a SOHC chassis???

HE HAS DECIDED NOT TO KEEP IT A SINGLE SLAMMER so no "keep it sohc!" please and thank you all in advance

you need he dohc ps lines and bracket (i believe), the throttle cable , the ecu from the dohc, a tach or whole doch gauge cluster, tranny bolts up, and DO NOT MICKEY MOUSE ANYTHING. i did this with a friend who mickey mouse'd my whole car and ruined it.

I say rebuild the single, and rebuild it for boost, i think there is something to be said for a sohc that makes good power.
