Damn tweaker honda drivers/Ricer flyby's

Why is it when a Honda or Acura integra driver see's a 240sx they get all ricky racer and think they are Paul Walker and start reving the hell out of you??
I'm on the 15 south in the fastlane cruising and this tweak in a 2.2CL climbs up my ass ,im doing 60 and he revvs up and passes me while cutting off two drivers almost sending them in to me
next I pull up along side an old ragged out integra and the guy goes absolutly nuts revving the engine.
For all you that know me I'm 41 years old and my car is done up nice, full aero wheels the whole bit, but does this make me a target for ricer flyby's??

Well I am also 40 and drive a 240 LOL.....I have wheels, its lowered with minor mods to the KADE. I drive thru the canyon everyday to go to work at March Air Field in Riverside. So I seem to always get pushed in the canyon, in which I can easily out handle them thru the switch backs and yes 3 out of 5 always seem to be honda.

Now in Moreno Valley I will get nods and 2 fingers from the 240's, AE86's, and the 350z.....but all the Honda drivers seem to glare?? WTF did I do.... Its always the primered ones that try to race....as if.....No thanks....dont need the ticket or the dangers to the pedestrians.

Now I do enjoy some spirited driving, so on the FWY I have on occasion pulled away from the Hondas....There is a Black SRT4 that I see once in while in the Canyon he tries really hard to leave me....but fails....until the FWY of course....

I hate the fact that when I drive during the day these ragged out Hondas would always turn on their 10000 blue hids thinking they are all cool; nonetheless, following me and grabbing that unwanted attention from the cops.

Another thing is at night, I hate that very many idiots who drive Hondas and Acuras do not realize their HIDS blind the shit out of people, meaning no retrofit, no projectors or no type of cutoff. I was cruising one night on the freeway and some DC tryed to keep up with me. The ricey blue hids glared in my rear view mirror and my side mirrors causing me to lose my ability to visualize the road. The bad thing is that I almost hit a guard rail and a merging car while the freeway began to curve.


If anyone didn't know, there is evidence that blue light will damage the eye with the obvious factor of blinding people when exposed to great amounts of light rays. It is a factor that automakers do not install dashboard lights with blue lighting.

Bout one or two years back I remember some honda kids that just got off of high school who revved me on a light turning left. There were three EGs (2 coupe, 1 hatch), all were primered and kinda beater looking. Now I was just dropping my brother off somewhere and these tards just take position to my left and right and behind and start revving me then finally speed off when I didn't play their game. What was memorable about it was that moments later as I see them speed away and attempt to bump/block each other (seriously these guys were acting like there were in bumper cars) on the street, one of them starts smoking. i've revved at people for a few reasons.
I dont have a horn so i do it to get peoples attention. My cars loud so it works. Ill do it sometimes to get people to rev back too, but no intention of racing people.

Funny this thread pops up cause Friday night my girl and I were driving home and it's about 1 am and were sitting at a light just talkin and Im lising to her talk and I hear vrooom vroooooom andi tell my girl hey u hear that sure enough this diced out eg is revving at some like 60yr old guy in a z33 ..so the light turns green and this guy does his lawnmower peg leg burn out and boom get lit up my a un marked under cover f150 police truck ..so this idot decides to run and sure enough just gets across the innersection and gets busted ...all thhe while my girl and I r laughing and pointing lol

Driving 60mph in the slow lane on the 405. I see a G35 passing in the middle lane, he slams on the breaks, gets behind me and then proceeds to fly around me cutting off a truck in front of me. For a moment I thought: you dumbass, I just have to put my foot down and the RB will eat you alive out of 5th gear. Then I see a CHP flying past me, so a mile later I exit, and ricer in his G35 is having a chat with the CHP.

I think ricer is defined by how you drive and not always by the car you drive.
But come on, when I have a vet or a nice looking cobra next to me, as long as there is no traffic or pedestrians and I feel like I won't endanger anyone else I give it a go - usually in a canyon not the streets. So i'm sure some of you do the same, no need to act like we have angel wings on our backs. And if you don't put your foot to the floor every once in a while to get a kick out of your car............. why drive the car on the street? Get an economical car or keep it track only.

Ricers don't know when to stop they will keep going until some barrier stops them. Thats why I only put my foot down when it's a performance car with balls - most of those drivers don't want to crash their expensive cars and they have a brain they need protect (how else do you think they afford expensive cars).

Stopped at a light yesterday, all of a sudden I hear some nasty sounding exhaust - I wanted to :barf: Ugly piece of shit white Honda accord pulls past me and starts racing the civic. I laughed my fucking ass off (LMFAO).

This morning was almost the same. Eclipse was driving in front of me and I tried to stay as far back as possible but eventually had to get next to him. The idiot blows past me and almost rear ends the car in front of him while reving his POS car.

It's so embarrassing when rice pulls up next to me!!!! My car is beat to shit so anyone around me thinks i'm a ricer too! But when people hear my engine I get surprised looks haha - beauty of having an RB.

Guy in eg hatch, lowered + rollbar held up traffic behind him so he can rev at me. He had green light to go straight.

HAHAHA! Yes i love that shit, every dip shit in a TC thinks his car is the shit. I gotta say i never had a WRX/EVO (only one actually but it was non turbo POS) rev at me. Most of those dudes give me this - damn i wish i was driving your car instead look. :2c:
