This. Not to sound like a prick but that's how it is. If you're new, no one goes to you, you 240 or just recently gotten my Z.
Similar thing happened in OC. Some kids tried putting on a new Wednesday meet when there was aleady one about 5 minutes up the freeway. All because they were too lazy to drive the extra 5 mins. This meet is literally streets away from my house, but gotta pay your loyalties to the longer running meet imo. You guys have fun though.

I've roll by this meet once, I live 5 min away from the area. They are cool people didn't know anyone there and they did welcome me with open arms. I'm just not a "meet" kinda guy. been the start of the 626 Drift Events, which has been running for over 3 years,
The start of many a street drifting night, Touge, Tspot,
Videos online.

i dont know if you can trust a guy that was pretty tight with the group who started this and has only been to the meet twice, we are always asking you to go but you just seem to have something better to do!

SO THERE'S GONNA BE RULES...

1. WHEN PULLIN IN TO THE MEET DRIVE IN AS QUIETLY AS POSIBBLE NO ONE LIKES A SHOW OFF THAT WAITS TILL 6K TO SHIFT TO SECOND....

2. ANY TYPE OF of REVVING, RACCING BURNING OUT OF ANYTHING ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH ITEMS
YOU WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE..

3. WHEN COMING TO THE MEET DRIVING UP AZUSA OR DOWN WHAT EVER WAY IT MIGHT BE, DRIVE. SAFELY AT THE SPEED LIMIT.

ONCE AGAIN YOU BREAK ANY OF THESE RULES.... ^you'll be asked to leave and you'll hear it from the ppl there

That's pretty much it... the cop gave us our warning again if it happen again I can't promise we'll get lucky again and I mean "US" cuz every one will get F"ed over....

we would avoid future possible drama and beef with the others if we just make it a RWD only, open to all makes and models, because if you start kicking people out just because they drive a toyota or mazda they might come back and start doing all that stuff we are trying to avoid (revving, speeding,racing, burnouts, yadda yadda..) just to get the cops out there to break up the meet then no 1 would come down anymore.


its not really like that. if we started this meet as a RWD meet we would had invited a lot of RWD people, trust me we have a lot of RWD friends mainly MR2s, miatas, and s2000 and believe us we dont hate non of them makes and models but we made this gathering and started this gathering for 240s, datsuns (nissan /infiniti) RWD and everything went well. from what we are before to now the meet have improved. for a year the only problem we had with the WCPD was just last friday and it wasnt even a problem coz the RX7 has having issues with his car cant put the blame on him.
