240 for sure its rwd and has almost perfect 50/50 weight distribution.

I think your friend is dumb. Ask him why he thinks Front wheel drive makes a better handeling car, you'll be sure to get a good laugh from his probable response.

i've heard from a prelude owner that our cars r 2 "wild" n that his fwd can just out handle my car since it's fwd. he wasn't trying to be a dick, he was just giving his honest opinion n i had no time to argue over something like that w/ him.

You have to get used to it... our car is easier to lose if you give to much throttle, it's just oversteer though... they handle better than that sentra for sure though... sentra's were never really known for awsome handling.

lol yea he is pretty dumb... but you'll have to excuse him....all he does is work on his mustang all day..so he pretty much knows shit about imports..but i'll have to give it to him..he got it runnin low 11's.. and one more thing..sorry to get off topic..i should really just make a new post but... i just got my 240 last monday..and the day after it started doin this weird thing... ok here it is.... its fine if i ease the throttle up but as soon as i put it to the floor or as soon as i hit over 5 grand it bogs rite down..the guy i got it from suggested a possible rip in the intake causin a vacume leak... anybody kno what it is? thanks..

an inexperienced driver would find it more difficult to drive a rwd car simply because of the handling characteristics. although a rwd car does handle better an inexperienced driver might find it more difficult to drive one well. make that part of your arguement

could be a leaking vacuum hose or something with the fuel system. if it cuts off at 4.5k then it might even be the ECU going into a failsafe mode. Ask the Q in the tech board and you'll get a better response tho.

if its a 95 sentra then no it wont handle better #1 the dont have rear independent suspension. #2 if its a xe gxe or anything besides a 200sx se-r (which i doubt it is since you said sentra) then the lil ga engine is nothing so his handling is caca. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
those cars have to much body roll. no stab bars we have both front and rear right from factory.
i have a 99 sentra se (with the n/a sr motor) so i know about both of these cars. and i still think my 240 would outsteer my sentra. I always catch up to my buddies in turns cause i can go fasater in the corners and just get better angles on turns compared to their se-r's

i do believe that the new sentra se-r v-spec would out-handle our cars however i also do believe that a s-15 silvia would beat the sentra because of the advancements in nissans suspension packages

Ok, here are my thoughts from my experiences. I owned a 1991 Nissan Sentra E. When I first got it, it handled just like any other FR 4-door. After I lowered it in the front (I never had time to do the back, and it actually looked better and more even of a slope), I also put a front strut bar on. That with my 205/40 R 16 Faulken Ziexs(sp?) made the Sentra Handle great. I could take just about any corner easily at speed doubling the posted safe speeds. It was great, except with the GA16DE it didn't have the power to back it up.
My '90 240 has Koni adjustable struts, and Eibach lowering springs on it. I also have 195/50 15 Toyo Proxies. With just that I can easily handle just the same as the Sentra.
