Shopping List (For SR):
Tomei N2 Oil Block (-10AN fittings provided)
Oil Filter Relocation Block 1/2" NPT (3/4" Filter Thread)
Oil Filter Relocation Block fittings (1/2" NPT to -10AN, Straight)
Setrab Oil Cooler w/ -10AN fittings (Setrab has a chart indicating a cooler for a certain HP range)

Bought most of my items from BakerPrecision.com. Should come out to about $530. I bought a 616 series oil cooler.
Read the many How-Tos on putting everything together. Talk to Hung at Baker Precision for pointers on making your own hoses.

GodDAMN that Greddy kit's a ripoff.
If you already have it, look at the diameter of the hose they gave you... -8an = 1/2" ID, -10an = 5/8" ID. -8an is really plenty for the motors we play with, so either way is cool.
You've got the workings of a $500 oil cooler setup there with your core and hose choice (which determines your fitting choices) - one of my kits could knock at least $100 off.
As far as running a thermostat in HI, I would say as long as you keep an eye on your oil temps and let the car fully warm up before running it hard, you'll be ok.

dude thx, the hose with the greddy kit is 5/8? or 1/2? so i know were good.. your like a 240 guru man..
i know its expensive but got it used and cherry condition for $60, came with 4x earls str8 connectors, 2 1ft hose and the 2 plates.. so just going to buy hose and prolly 2 90s and a cooler..
Earl or Setrab.. what would u go with knowing that im not going to run a thermo, a smaller one>?
im reading both threads, so basically insteald of spending the 150 on thermo and fittings, buy a oil temp gauge?

yo
get Stance or Tomei oil block. they are like 150 bucks or something.
earls filter pedestal thing is like 40 iirc, uses toyota V6 filter... at least thats the biggest filter I could find that fit perfectly.
4x straight swivel seal fittings for the oil block and filter pedestal, 2x 90 degree ones for the cooler
10 feet of line is PLENTY, you will have some left over.
I used earls 16 row cooler, it was kinda small, but perfect for a street car IMO, especially since I didnt run a thermostat.
you can see where I had the filter mounted in this pic

made for easy changes with no mess.
here you can see how I mounted the cooler. I ran the lines along the frame rail in the engine bay. But obviously I was V-mounted, so this may not work for others. but if you have one ounce of creativity in your body, you'll figure something out no problem.
