Just curious to know if anyone has built there own custom ram air intake here.. and if anyone knows how to go about doing it-- I heard at an auto shop how its alot cheaper to go about doing that and also that it can be very efficient if built properly.. Anyone with ideas or experience in this? ......

yeah i made a cold air port. it dosen't actually "ram" the air in your intake, if it did that then you would prob have to tune your car to it and stuff. email me if u wanna know how i did it.

the o2 sensor will pick up the extra air in the exaust and add more fuel - automatically

Actually there have been cases of a "Ram air" induction system screwing with the MAFS and stalling the car out at high speeds. It was on 240sx.org IIRC.
