Ka24de acting up.

I'm not sure what it is but it just started doing it. If I shift from lets say 2 to 3rd at about 3200 I let the clutch out and when I give it gas my Air/Fuel gauge reads lean and it starts wanting to die or sputters(almost like a quick backfire) and then comes back to life some. There is new plugs,wires,fuel filter about 8-9 months ago. While idling it seems to run lean sometimes. Could my FPR be going out? Could it be going from running 91 octane to 87-89? Thanks.

Put a fuel pressure guage on it...and put it under your wiper blade so you can see it from in the car


then drive and watch it when it does that again..

see what the pressure is

nah most likely fuel related and cant be your plugs if you just changed them, and to answer your question, changing to a lower grade of fuel has nothing to do with it unless you are boosted.
