I'm a noob so I'll post this here, please help me.

I just finished swapping in a new T25 after I had left my car at home for 10 months while at college, that works fine. Second day I'm driving go to shift into second and hear a loud like pop/snap and my clutch is off to the side.

So my pedal instead of going straight to the firewall goes up and to the right toward the brake pedal, the pedal sits back two to three inches now and towards the brake pedal.

When it compresses the whole bracket torques, none of the bolts look like they are missing/snapped.

Pedal will not engage the clutch, had to start the car in second and drive it two/three miles to a friends.

There is still tons of pressure when you push down on the pedal, I have a stage 2 clutch so it is extremely stiff

Any ideas?

PS: When I got home my headlights won't go down now either, any ideas there?

You need to replace the bracket...its known to brake a part. Either get another one or get the one you have rewelded back together.

Only possible way that I can think of is main bolt snapped or got loose. Just get a flash light and check the bracket.

I'm sure fliprayzin is right it had happened to me before. The brackect looked normal to me until I pulled the assembly out and found that a spot weld had broken. Instead of welding it back ijust got another used one for $20, popped it back in, resetted the hieght and I was good to go. Look it up on google about this and you"ll see what were talking about

Alright sweet, thanks guys.

I got a buddy I'll go pick up later who has an extra bracket and we will do work.

Before I install the replacement bracket, is there any things I could do to strengthen it?
