I started this post on Freshalloy already, but I want to get some more input on it. Has anyone ever used the Pivot A/F Meter w/ their wideband o2 sensor? Is it a TRUE WIDE BAND, or are being somewhat misrepresentative? I called Pivot directly, and their response to my question was that it is true WIDE BAND, but it's not heated, which is why it utilizes 4 wires instead of 5 or 6 like many other wide band o2 sensors out there. However, I was always under the impression that a true wide band HAD to be heated!?

here is the link to the original post on Freshalloy:

I read that if the O2 sensor doesnt heat up it will be clogh by the Co2 particles. and there for it would fail.
Ill look up the page and paste it.
i had the same question about how acurate those A/F radio gauges are. i have a auto meter one and base on what i heard in this post Ill have to get rid off it. :wtc:
