So, I finally got tired of a clutch pedal that engaged the clutch like a 1/4" off the floor and bypassed my clutch damper.
The problem I was running into when I first adjusted my pedal with the damper still hooked up was that, based on how hot it was outside, if I adjusted the pedal to release at a comfortble spot it would slip bad once the car/trans got hot. Then when I adjusted it again to where it wasn't slipping when it was hot it released way too close to the floor.
I did some searching and found out that people with aftermarket clutches have had similar problems, some not even disengaging the clutch at all, and decided to try this cheap 30min fix. I've only driven around town and romped on it on some side roads to see if the clutch slipped (it hasn't) and am very happy.
So, for those who haven't done this basic mod I highly recommend it.
