Last but not least,
The AE Team just returned, (well a few weeks ago now..lol) from Rd 4 Redline Time ATTACK and came home with the most win's to date for the AE Performance team!
After some major Set-back's in Vegas the AE Z was back and better than ever. We were able to bring home another 1st Place Win and for the first time a Overall Class Win as well!
Throught the day their was talk weather we were getting fresh tires for the car or we would have to continue to use what we had left from Vegas. In Qualifiying the AE Z clicked off a 1.53.7xx besting our previous class record by 2 sec's on used tires. That time sucured our spot in P1 for the time attack so we decied to skip the second qualifiyinig session. By then we had gotten word that new rubber was on the way so the second session was open to ride alongs, a few drifts and other on track schnanagins. Well, we ended up paying for our play time as no new tires showed up. Going for a new official record was out, but we were still able to click off another 1.55.xxx wich was good enough for the Win in Class and Overall! We were pumped! :snoop:

Another 1st Place win went out to AE Team Driver Carl Rydquist . Carl showed up last minute w, no practice laps, his drift car, street tires and Smoke trail that would make any normal person pull off track, and still brought home the Gold in Mod RWD. Good job Carl! :2f2f:

Yet another Win the AE Crew brought home, was by Rich Taylor in his new AE 335R. We build this car in 2 weeks. Fighting constant cooling / limp mode issues Rich "no pump gas" Taylor still made the podium and brought home a 3rd place with for the AE Team! :yum:

An honorable mention must also go out to the AE M3 driven by Paul Walker. Getting more comfortable with the car (only his 2nd time behind the wheel) Paul landed 6th place out of 15 Street RWD Class entrants. With a little more work Paul and the AE M3 will be on the Podium in no time! :naughtyd:
