custom e-brake

Im trying to customize my stock e-brake to a vertical e-brake i have some what of a idea but it is my daily driver so i will still need the lock for up-hills or down hills has any one done it. I made my 16 inch shifter out of a samurai sword and i would like to the same with the e-brake.

get a hydraulic e brake and keep ur oem e brake

Someone did something like this. They welded a bar to the end of the stock ebrake handle or something.

There is a pic of it somewhere, just can't remember where. But honestly, there isn't really anything wrong with the stock ebrake handle location; it works fine for me.

I am new to the 240sx world, but why would you want to do that?

to me it just sounds like a cheaper and easier way to make a hydrualic look alike e brake

spend the extra money and get the real thing

yea i could buy the hydrualic e brake but knowing i took the time to build it makes my ride some what diffrent to any other s14 plus its a projet that really keeps it in a buget.

when people install hydraulic/staging brakes they mount them somewhere in the region of where their knees are.

if you modify the stock e-brake so that its vertical its gonna be to far back to comfortably grab imo.
