Looking at picking up a 300zx, Z32. Got pictures of the car. Looks real clean, just wanting to get you opinions on this underbody. (Warning, the pictures are large)

Looks clean to me.

Considering you're in Canada, I don't think you're going to find a Z32 with a cleaner under body than that.

Check for any cracked fuel lines in the engine bay. Check the tension rod bushings as well as the hicas ball joints for wear.
Make sure the PS high pressure hose doesn't leak.
Check the front king pin bearings for slop.
Chck the steering rack bushings as well.

thanks guys. He's asking 11500. Says it's only had two previous owners, untouched, 175000km (107,000 miles) and says it doesn't need anything/runs perfect.

What do you think??

will do, but if it all checks out. is it worth $11,500. Even with 175,000km (107,000 miles)?

Hell no. 8k would be reasonable.

I agree, 8k is a more reasonable price. I wouldn't go that much higher. Although stating the obvious, even though it's appears to be a well maintained TT, it's still an almost 20 y/o car. You don't know how it's been driven or how the motor/tranny's been maintained. I've seen some really clean cars that have been completely ragged out. Is the owner an older person? Or, does it come with a service history? Without something like that, I don't care how clean it is, anything over the 10k mark for a car that old is way too much.

Remember that timing belt is done every 60k miles, and its probably the most hated job to do on a Z. Your at 107k so 13k more miles and its due for a change. Getting it done at a shop will cost you an arm, a leg, a head, a neck, a....etc. Thats no reason not to buy the car though, I used to have a slow NA and i loved her, im sure the TT will take care of the "slow" problem haha.

It comes with full service history. Here is a list of what he said was done and when. I also car faxed and everything checked out. No accidents, odo rollback, etc.

timing at 96000 km (59,651 miles)
clutch flywheel at 100000 km (62,137 miles)
2 turbos at 117000 km (72,700 Miles)
fuel system service at 122000 km (75,807 Miles)
engine shampoo and throttle body cleaning at 125000 km (77,671 miles)
fuel injectors 129000 km (80,156 miles)
the exterior was refinished and rustproofed at 133000 km
