WT BORROW! Front s13 or s14 coilovers in sf bay area

Hey,
This may seem like a strange request, but i need to borrow a front set of coilovers for 2 days at the most. I'm in Santa Clara.

I bought this datsun 1200 that has modified front control arms with a s13 front hub/brake assembly, and i need the coilovers to bolt on so i can transport the car on a trailer about 8 miles.

I don't have a ton of money, but i'd be happy to buy you a case of your favorite beer or something of similar value...

I could have these back in 2 days or less, realistically in about 8 hours if everything goes well.

Why not just get stock shocks and springs?

Because stock shocks and springs are too big and the car wont be able to turn. If it was that simple, it would've been done already.

If it sounds fishy, don't let me borrow them. However, i do have better things to do than rip off people on their coilovers.

I realize this may not be the most appealing offer for anybody. I just thought somebody in the car community might be able to help another car nut out. I'm sure somebody else here has needed help with their ride at some point.

Get stock front shocks, dirt cheap on here. Cut the springs, or hell take the damn spring off even... you don't need coilovers to be on a trailer. just my 2cents

And to illes13 - the diameter of the stock spring perch is too large. Otherwise, your idea would've been implemented already.
