s14 sr maf pigtail problem

my sr doest rev past 2300 rpms so i been checking the maf and found that my wires for the maf are different. The colors on my s14 sr is black with red dots, white with black dots and white with red dots. my pigtail is orange, black and red and red. the clip for the maf is from a front wheel drive sr.


my freinds s14 sr20 has white, black and black/white wires for his maf.

anyone with a s14 sr has black with red dots, white with black dots and white with red dots.

i tried my freinds maf, and ecu and it still doesnt rev hight. I put my maf and my ecu on his car and it starts up no problem.

also im not getting 12 volts to the maf.

im getting 11. 64, -7.2 and 0 all in volts.when car is on ignition and turned on all th number are the same when on ignition and tured off.

any help would be really helpfull

How many threads do you have on your MAF issue so far?

Are you still just trying to change the pigtail/connector. If so, give up. Go find a zenki MAF to match your motor and be done with it...

i got a zenki maf but I think the problem is the wireing to the maf.. i think its not getting the correct voltage because the wires are wired wrong... wanted to kno if anyone has the sae wire colors as me becaue my freinds is different.

mine are black with red dots, white with black dots and white with red dots.

does haveing no exhaut haveanything to do with it also could it be a bad injector?
