flip-up head light problems

I got a 94 convert and on my driver side headlight wont go down. If the switch(button) is off it will go down manually. but with the button on, the head light will stay up and trying to manually shut it will make it go down and then up again. I got a newer head light motor but i wanna if its a relay or maybe electrical. I check the fuses and all of them are good. any help would be great because im stuck. thanks

had the same problem when i got my second coupe. I just got another one from the junk yard, swapped them and done deal. I doubt its an electrical problem. Since you got the other motor just swap them... you got nothing to loose bro. Good luck

yeah...i was just wondering if anyone knew..i was going to return the motor but F*** it...thanks mucho

I don't understand what's going on. Can you redescribe again or video?

What does turning on and off the retractor switch do? What does turning on and off the combo light switch do? Combinations of both?

Show me a condition table or something.

well as i said, if the lights are off and you press the head light button (not the stick switch) the head lights will pop up. but when you press the button again the driver side head light wont go down. I tried to manually turn the motor so it will shut but it just goes down then back up again. I can still put the head light down but thats only with the lights off and when the button is in the off position. i hope that sufficient info..

I'm not going to bother anymore with mine. I wired 2 relays and 2 years later one motor got stuck.
