SOLD SOLD SOLD

ITEM: S13 Fiberglass Doors
PRICE: $400
SHIPPING: No
DESCRIPTION: These are the fiberglass doors I used on my car last year. They weigh less than 10 lbs. each. They're in great shape, no cracks anywhere. I've already done all the crap work of installing hinges, mirrors, handles, locking mechanism, etc., so these will bolt on without any additional work. These come from the manufacturer with no holes drilled at all, no hinges, no mirror mounts, so it's a big pain to install when purchased new.

I'm flexible on the price, but brand new doors from Chaser are listed at $500 on their site, and it takes close to 20 hours of labor to make the hinges, mirrors, etc. work on these. So I think the price is reasonable. Feel free to make me any offer though.

Is there a way to install manual glass mechanism/plexiglass anything on this thing? I see its gutted empty.

Also how are the hinges? Does it crack at the hinges

you can install the window crank mechanism, but it will take some fabrication on your part. but by doing so you kinda ruin the part of lightening up your doors. your better off making fixed mounted polycarbonate windows.

the do tend to crack overtime if your rough on them. mine are mounted with a backing plate behind the hinges. no cracking at all....

These are pretty thick around the hinge area and I used large washers there, so they're not cracked. You'd probably need to sit on them or something for them to crack.

About glass, the most common sense thing to do would be to bolt/rivet plexi windows to the top lip of the door. Like previous reply, installing the rolling window mechanism kind of defeats the point of lightweight doors.

And about the pink... your girlfriend likes it.

If you were to bolt/rivet a plexi/lexan window to the door and the top part/roof, how the hell are you supposed to get out of the car?
