I've searched the forums and didnt find anything.

Long story short. my uncle did some major body work when he painted my car. Pulling the front fenders out 4" and bracing them.

However I need to reinstall the plastic fender well plastic lining as there is a hole from the fender on the 240 that leads RIGHT into the door jam where rocks, water, dirt, tar, babies, etc collect.

I've been to home depot, lowes, etc. and all they had was a plexi-glass. Does anyone have ANY idea of what else this thin plastic is used for so that I may find a big sheet of it?

PS... I've found small sheets of plastic on the interwebs but nothing like 5' x 5' which is what i'm lookin for.

why don't you use vinyl or aluminum sheathing.

you'll find it in the roofing section of lowes.

Why not use aluminum sheet metal?

Why use it?

Check in some dumpsters.

I've thrown multiple ones away.

huh, the sheet metal idea is sound... never thought of that actually.

and Zar... i explained why you need it. I just got very expensive body work and paint done i would like to keep it that way and not have my door jams rust to hell.
