new and need a little info

hey everyone...im just looking for some general knowledge help....i have a picture of an rb25det (not mine, just a pic i found on google)....i marked in red the part i need to know about...just what these hoses might be called and the purpose of them...im new to 240's and rb's obviously and would appreciate any help....thnx

Those are the valve cover vents, and the PCV valve is on the far side of the pass side valvecover (that goes to the intake mani), and the vacuum source tees off the driver's side valve cover vent to the intake. I'm pretty sure they're all 1/2" hose fittings.

hey man thanks alot for the help...one more thing if your still there....it is to my understanding that in this other photo i have marked that this hose is replaceable with one of those little clamp on filters...looks like a mini air filter...
