Correct, the japanese ones only have the brake lights. the little corner lights on the far left and right sides of the tails do not have cut outs in the japanese ones. They have a line drawn on the plastic that shows you where the usdm bulbs WOULD go into. also, i suspect usdm ones are a dark grey and jdm ones are dark black, people say usdm ones fade but I think they are just different colors.
