How do you bleed out the system then? just suck out as much as possible? flush it a couple of times?

you get under your car, and where the hardlines go into the rack, you loosen one of those badboys and let it drain out, it's gravity driven. bam, you could also loosen your pulley belt and manually pump the fluid out after removing the hardline. if you're anal.

i usually leave the top open and keep turning the wheel while someone adds fluid as the air bubbles out.
did you happen to figure out what that "red circle" is yet because it is important to know sub par basic stuff about a car.

S-chassis were made to use ATF.

When I do a flush I remove the return hose and point it into a container, turn car on and keep pouring new fluid in, you gotta be quick with this cuz the fluid moves fast. Have someone else sit in the car and tell them when to start and shut off the car.
Dex ATF is recommended by FSM. Use other stuff and you can ruin seals and have leaks because it's thinner easier for it to pass through small openings.
