View Full Version : M2 Performance Exhaust
I was looking around at exhausts earlier today and I came across a catback system that looks pretty decent for $200:
M2 Performance (http://www.m2performance.net/product/productdetail.asp?productid=6034)
The company is called m2 Performance, does anyone have this on their car? Whats the fitment like, any pics??

Hmmm, I believe that a cheap exhaust, is just a cheap exhaust. If you want crappy fitment, and to sound like crap, get a cheap exhaust. If you want to look good, sound good, and have a decent performance gain, get a known good exhaust. I've never heard of that company, but I'd bet that it's basically the same thing as any of those cheap-o exhausts that you'd find all over Ebay.
Try it out if though, if you want... That's just my opinion.
Good luck.

Exhuast smuast, they dont give you enough performance gain to make up for what you spent anyway, even the name brand exhuasts dont fit right. Buy the cheapest piece of crap you can find. Ittle give you the same dam gain a 300-500 will.

I used to have this.. sounded really good, it fit well too. I'd buy it again, I got mine on ebay for like 150 shipped a while ago.

at least it has a resonator.
i bought a "shitsetter" when i was broke one time because my stock exhaust broke in half..
only reason i bought it was because it looked exactly like the oem exhaust.
didn't come with a resonator.
$240shipped. It sounded okay until 3500rpm at WOT.. *RAASPPPPPP*
only time it sounded good was when i had an egr code for 1.5 years that kept blowing the downpipe-gutted CAT converter gasket. I ended up leaving it connected without a gasket until i had to smog, then it sounded good :2f2f:
someone chimed in already, so go for it.
it's hard to make a ka/sr sound bad unless you don't get a resonated exhaust.
Bump it up for pics please :)
BTW- you can get this exhaust on ebay right now for $175 shipped.

M2 stuff works okay, M2 is basically the sister company to Megan Racing, basically the cheap no-name stuff they sell is branded as M2. Everything works okay, keep in mind that it is just an exhaust.

I'd suggest that you invest in quality. It may cost lil more but you can rely on it's durability and service.

While I appreciate your fervor for these things; that was a piece of information best left in the graveyard, since no one was talking in this thread for THREE YEARS before you bumped it with a piece of information that had already been imparted on us.
Go you!
