while the dimples arent something i care about as much as everyone else on here, i like the placement of the p/s reservoir! if you have time and a tig, it would be cool to see a custom reservoir (you could make it larger if it fit the space in that corner)


Changed the shape of that gusset so now the p/s reservoir will go right in there and yes custom one will be cool.

Here is some shit I've done today: pre fitted my pop up's , they will always stay up I think it looks sick.... on a hatch :P and got my rear brace with a spot to jack up the car...... since the car will be super low and jack wont slide under my bumper ( my old car was like that I always had a hard time lifting it during tire changing and the kit was not as low as this one )

2 days ago I sanded the whole car and primered Engine bay, under the car inside and all the body parts....... waited a day and wet sanded the whole car again . Thanks to my Brother William for helping me....

I was thinking of not posting pics till the car is finished but I couldn't keep it to myself...... The color I picked is 2010 porsche GT3 and it's pretty wild........ ;D I got all the body put together also finished putting all the lexan windows and also got mirrors put on and subframe and the solid bushings........subframe was a pain in the ass i was under the car for an hour and my neck was killing me but I got it on :'(

FYI-you have to cut them to make the windows. they come in a square sheet...so we are clear.

its already coated with undercoat and then primered and painted same as inside it almost looks like primer but its all painted

Healthy oil temps are commonly between 200-220*F... Cooling earlier than that is counter-productive

LOL I think I spent less then most ppl on similar builds I did all the work myself and i had a running car with all the parts in it so all i did is swap shells and just really did work on this one but not a lot of spending just wheels and rollcage piping which only cost $300 and I did all the welding and gussets paint did it in garage only cost $300 for primer and paint lol oh and I got gauges too but I got em used and it was really cheap

I've seen some fab work and time put into a car, and some of the chicago cars look dope but holy fuck man, you are a inspiration to a lot of people on here, it takes people like you to get others to get more involved in their builds and attention to detail, great work man. I got my motor pulled and engine bay sanded down and prepped but i guess there is alot more I have to do now lol. Keep it up post more pix, and what did you do with your fuse box and wiring??
