ok, this sounds dumb... but can i run my sr with only the stuff off of a front clip, i want to know what the bare minimum to have to run my sr20det. i don't have to have the guages, i don't need a turbo timer right?... is there anything that I HAVE TO BUY other than the front clip with all engine and harnessing.. i've researcehed this but everyone i've asked always gives me the run around on it, or they try to sell me a product.. hopefully u guys can help out.. thanx

you can run ur car w/ the front clip if everything is in good condition n nothing needs to be replaced (stock). you don't necessarily need any particular gauges to run it nor do u need a turbo timer. i would just leave ur car running a bit before u turn it off wherever u go until u get a turbo timer to do all that good stuff for u.

I agree, but keep some money laying around in case something doesn't work on the clip.  I think there are also misc. parts you will need due to lhd to rdh configuration, as well as flexpipes, an intake filter, downpipe, and probably a clutch to be safe.  I would guess a bare minimum of an extra $1000 on top of the clip to be conserative, assuming you are doing the install yourself.  Oh yeah, and $70 for an FSM.

The clip should come with a downpipe - mine did.
A clutch would be aight, cuz you don't now how much the person b4 u fucked it up, but you dont really need it.
Just save money for random shit, fluids, filters, etc.

ohh yeah never even thought about a clutch.. well i got a centerforce dual friction.. but it won't work on the sr will it?...
