Ok i have been working on this car for almost a year. and for some reason i can't keep it from over heating with out having the heat run fool blast... i replaced the thermostat but it was a fairly cheap one. and i am not sure if that is still the cause or if i need to replace the head gasket. would anyone like to throw ideas out at this or suggest anything?

Do you have fans?

i would go in this order
T/STAT - still over heats
Radiator cap - still overheats
Water Pump - still overheats
Fan Clutch or E-Fan - still overheats
Radiator / system flush - still overheats
Compression test / head gasket

Do you have the OEM radiator in it still? Mine got pin holes in it. I did everything on the list besides replacing the radiator and overheated my motor so bad it cracked the block.
Do the compression test you might need to do a head gasket.
