Hey, I got a set of SSR Longchamp 2 pieces wheels for cheap and looking forward to refinish them before putting them on my car. However, I removed all the bolts off the wheel, and beat the sh*t out of the face, but it would not come off. Right now I am letting it sit with WD40 to see if it helps.

Anything else I could have done?

Thanks in advance

heat is always a good way to loosen things up.... just be careful with it on stuff like wheels

He said 2 piece, not 3. No reason for it having sealant when the 2 pieces can be taken apart and the wheel still hold air. 2 piece = barrel is one piece and face is another piece.

Are they copies or real Longchamps? (You sure its not a fake 2 piece?)

Anyhow, depends on if the face attaches from behind or up front. Hit the center with a rubber mallet in the center to loosen it, then tap it slightly working around the face in a circle. Post pics of the fronts and backs of the wheels.

You are correct sir. Was thinking 3 piece.

remember when reassembling to first figure out the torque spec and then to torque the fasteners in a star pattern :)
