The back of the sky is way out of line. They always fit better than that. Must have been wrecked. It would never come out of Japan looking that bad. Fit is POOR>>
Trunk lid, crooked bumper.....needs some bodywork there pal.

The R32 rear is supposed to be like that, the body has a lip that is raised above the bumper cover. The bumper is sagging a little but thats understandable, since the car is pretty old now.

The trunk is not even seated right..look at the top of the trunk lid.
I've seen them even..no joke...still nice a$$ed cars..

Actually, the rear bumper was not secured right. It has long been fixed since then.
The lid lines up from what I can remember. It's probably the angle the picture was taken.

Dude, who cares, its still a skyline, who gives a **** if teh trunk lid is maybe a mm or 2 up?

Because skylines are touted to be the best fit and finish cars ever made.
I like to see it represented as such...and yes, I give a sh!t...don't you?
Maybe you don't, I see your 240 is for sale (sigh)
BTW, I enjoyed reading and looking at all the pictures of your RB swap and seeing the videos..no offence please..
I would have cut that tranny space with a cutting tourch and not used a hammer though...Yes, I care...a bunch.

Well that makes alot of sense, why don't I spend the time to cut the fire wall when absolutley no one will see it, yeah that makes alot of sense. I see you still have a KA (sigh). Well ya know, not everyone is as anal as you are, and y aknow what, not every car is the same, maybe the skyline you saw was "perfect" but not every one of them is going to look the same now is it.

I have a very special KAE
It turns good numbers and is a blast to drive and lay waste to many things out there including Eclipse turbos..
Why are you so sour?

I'm sour cause I dont need people to tell me I should have done this or I should have done that. The way I did it seems to work out for me and everyone else that I help through the swap. I Was just giving you **** with the KA thing cause you gave me the sigh for selling my car. I actually like the KA24E. I Had 2 in my car before I went RB. I just think it's stupid that as soon as the pic is posted you start with "the back of that skyline is messed up" I mean really, it doesn't matter. I've seen worse.

Ok, noted, if giving me crap is your goal, go ahead and make yourself miserable on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Life is too short to even deal that way...and yes, the KAE is very formadible with over 2.5liters of stroking and boring. That we can agree on.
I think I will have a beer and go to the golf course to swim in the pool and then have a nice backside round around sunset.
BTW, I wish I could buy yours but not right now.
I wish you well in getting it sold.
Go here and look at 91MM X 97MM Stroke

I seriously doubt giving you crap would make me in any way miserable, and you're right life is too short to go around and analyze pics and worry about the trunk being 1 or 2 mm off.

Not on a new 70K car it is not.
Nismo241
07-12-2003, 02:12 PM
Sorry but an R32 is not a 70K car, nor was it ever, and if it's not yours, then who cares, maybe he likes his trunk lid a bit off.

Sweet cars, The skyline is grand no matter what, IMO. Bill, thanks for keeping the comments professional. You obviously don't sound like most ready to battle it out with others. Very mature individual, again IMO.
The RB25DET and RB26DETT are the sweetest and finest pieces of automobile engineering to come out of Japan and the body styles around them are just as amazing. They are respected, envied, and feared throughout. IMO...again.

You is right my man! The flame sh1t sucks and messes up a thread, fills with crap and boosts the post count of individuals (post whores).
BTW, I understand that you, I and many others here are in the same boat of getting paid to surf kinda work deal, right? Ha HA

I've decided it's time to move to Japan...It's so sad that all the cars I REALLY lust over are illegal here. And it would take a butt load of money to get one legalized(S15...I want you so bad it hurts). sob sob...

None of the above.
I drive a 4Runner now. :) Although I've owned numerous MR2's and 240SX's. I also had a Silvia imported about 3 years ago.

Yesterday, I saw skyline taillights in the traffic up ahead of me, so I sped up to get a closer look, since you dont often see them on the street in my kneck of the woods.
I got closer only to see that it was a civic. I was very disappointed.

R33 tails on preludes, civics, accords
R34 tails on a prelude
Prolly more, but can't think of any, they really should get a big sign that says imma wannabe:hammer:
