would muteki lug nuts work on stock rims or would i need to use stock lug nuts for stock rims and then the muteki for the aftermarket ones?

I'm using muteki's to bolt my 38/30mm spacers on. Idealy you should use the oem lug nuts cause they fit better, but i've been dailying with whatever lug nuts and nothing's gone wrong.

from what ive heard your not suppose to use aftermarket lug nuts with stock wheels.
i believe it messes up the threading on your wheel studs if im not mistaken

how do they mess up your threads? theyre set for your pitch lol

the only issue i would see is the seat for them

Aftermarket lug nuts have a 60* taper (usually) on the contact surface with the lug holes on aftermarket rims.

Stock lugs are flat and so are the lug holes on stock wheels.

So you do the math.

not stock, i just bought 4 when my lugs broke. theyr not stock, their "aftermarket" stock. Pretty much stock when replacing your legit-stock ones, but they arent truly aftermarket like muteki ones and such.

I'm pretty sure the taper is different.

Well, I'm working on Gorilla lug nuts for work today, and so far I've seen the flat type mounting lug nuts, lug nuts with 45 degree taper, lug nuts with 60 degree taper (this is the most common one btw), and lug nuts with a ball seat.
