Sorry if there is a certain way to look threw this form for questions to my answers. I'm just getting use to Zilvia still.
I wanted to know if there is any reason that a gauge cluster from a 90 s13 wouldn't be compatible with a 92 coupe.
Thanks all:D

if both are single cam clusters they will be fine

Well I have a dual cam. And the cluster came out a 1990 single cam.
Whats the difference? What would happen?

I'm researching this too right now, and the consensus is that there is a difference between the tach signal on the SOHC and DOHC motors... so the big difference would be that your tach may not work
Gurus feel free to correct me.....

Yeah. I just started experiencing the same tach issua. Although, it was working before I switched the coolant temp sensor last night. I originally swapped the cluster and replaced the coolant gauge for a pro sport gauge.
Since then:
Engine is having a hard time starting but run good once it dose.
Fog lights are always on no matter what when the ignition is on.
Headlights wont move down until the car shuts off.
Now the tach just died.
Also getting code 34 from the ECU (knock sensor I think)

DOHC Clusters will only work with DOHC Motors
SOHC Clusters will only work with SOHC Motors
DOHC Motors - KA24DE, SR20DET, SR20DE, etc.
SOHC Motors - KA24E
How to identify the correct cluster
Dohc Cluster - Redline is ~7500
Sohc Cluster - Redline is ~6500
