I wasn't racing, not at all, I was driving next to the guy checking out his car, freaking beautiful. I could tell he was checking mine out too... well anyways, there was an open lane that we both went to, and he just matted it.... boom, I went down to third, but it didn't matter, he drove away from me like I was an idiot... didn't even break 80 going after him cause he was GONE. That car is too freakin sweet. He had the high model with an auto (or he is the greatest shift ever... either way) and it sounded nice when it took off too.... I want to drop that 3.5 liter in my car... maybe I can make that legal.

those cars are nice. At first I hated the Clear tail lights, but the car itself is really starting to grow on me. The more I see it, the more it looks sweet. If only it wassn't 4-door.

I don't want to hear any stories that start out "I was checking out his and I could tell he was checking out mine too."
Seriously though, I've been thinking about a VQ in 240sx too. I wonder how much has changed in the way Nissan mounts their engines.

Well since the altima is front wheel drive and the 240 is RWD it won't work. Maybe if you wait for the 350Z motor.

shjoot you can break the wheels all day in an auto altima easy as ####. we do it all the time at work the 3.5's are fun as #### and faster than a maxima spank a acura tl or whatever that car is (trust me i know)
but the gold is the stick altima those are the fun ones.

There was a punk in a riced-out 95 or so Altima one day--huge coffee can, funky wheels, weird wing & a nice little "R" on the back next to the Altima XE--he started screwing w/ me at every light. Finally I got sick of him after 4 lights--HAHA!!! GOT 'EM!!! It's the first time I had actually street-dragged someone! The funniest part was--he did the nice little "Ricer fly-by"--I slowed down to 5above the speed limit & he accellerated (I heard the bumblebees sing HEHE) and flew past me and then ran the next red light. It was fun nevertheless.
