so theres an issue with my fuel pump relay.
what is happening is when power is being supplied, nothing happens. if i use a jumper to power the fuel pump, the relay sparks and buzzes non stop.
if i remove the jumper wire, touch the side of the relay with a screw driver and make contact everything works perfectly, no issues
WHATS THE PROBLEM????
i swapped it out with another like relay, same issue.
its a 4 pin relay.

You're understanding of the fuel pump circuit is wrong. You are going about this in a terrible way as well.

Power is constantly supplied to your fuel pump. The ECM decides when the relay should kick on or off.

so do you think theecu isnt relaying the on/off? im definetely not good with relays. i figured i was going about it all wrong i just know enough to tackle this.
if its not a novel for you to type, can you explain to me what the process is: ignition, relay opens/closes to prime the fuel, then as car is running it runs?

I can't explain it any better than the FSM. Since you seem new to this, you should have a friend with you in case you injure or electrocute yourself.
Note: Ignore the fact that I am refering to the S15 AFSM. It doesn't matter, the circuit is still identical. The location of your pump relay is in the engine bay on the passenger side.

that should help a LOT. thank you sir!
theres power at the ecu Pin 104
theres no power at the pump harness
theres power at the relay. i replaced the relay and same issue.

Your ecu sends the trigger via pin 104, it should not be 12v. if you send 12v down the wire for pin 104, either that wire is now burnt, or the trace or circuit in the ecu is! no fuel pumpy worky.
to test the rest of your wiring remove the fuel pump/ egi pump relay, take a jumper wire jump the pin like so:http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b142/COTBU/jumpedsocket.jpg

The fuel pump should power on with the key on, Yes/NO!?

sweet. i will try this out tomorrow.
i check the ecu volts at pin 104 and it has what ever the car has for volts...if this is bad, then thats the problem
what is weird is the car run great 3 days ago. now nothing.

If, my previous post works for you, I would remove the battery ground, then remove the harness plug from the ecu, then check wire and pin 104, for continuity to the relay, then connect the negative battery and check for voltage. This should lead you down the road of proper repair. Also do not install another ecu in your car, until this is determined or you'll fry everyone you install. (Taking your ecu to a working vehicle is much safer).

pin 104 has 12v of power...should be a ground. thats the problem. when i remove that wire from the relay and ground the relay, it works. but it doesnt shut off. as long as the key is on, its on.
