Federal 595 on a 17x9.5, researched pics added

hey guys, i went drifting last night in my s14. so i need some new tires now because i roasted them good. right now i have 255/40/17 falken rt615's on a 17x9.5 +12. i want to run a harder tire because in one night i slaughtered my rt's. i want a clean stretch with the feddys, and i cant decide between a 215/45 or a 225/45. when i was at work i mounted a bunch of different brands and sizes too see how differently they stretched. here is what i found.
