just because you have stock injectors doesn't mean the SAFC isn't doing anything. For that theory to hold, your injectors would have to be maxed at full throttle.

is the SAFC set right? right number of cylinders, set on hot wire, 1in 1 out, blah blah blah.

Do you have a wideband or are you trying to pull/add fuel all willy nilly without any actual reading of what it's doing a/f wise.

If you bought the SAFC used and there was correction on it already, I high recommend you not use those settings. Here what you can do:
1) Initialize the SAFC (you will lose all correction data)
2) Set to HOT WIRE
3) Set to 4 Cylinder pointing UP
4) Set 5in, 5 out (you can actually us 1:1, 2:2, 3:3.. in=out, it's all the same)
These are the settings if everything is stock like you have said. This should get you started. You may need to set the decel settings if you're running an open atm BOV.

You have conflicting stories. First you said "because an airflow converter was add", but in your previous post it you say "i bought the car with it in there".

It's two completely scenarios. Let me know what occurred first:
1) Your car was running fine. You add a SAFC and now the car does not run fine.
2) Your car came with an SAFC already and was running fine at one time. Now it does not run fine.
3) Your car was never running fine, you was told it was the SAFC that is causing the problem.
4) Other (please specify)

Removing the SAFC is simple. However, from reading only the information given at this time, removing the SAFC would most likely not solve your problem. Let me know when the car started to run bad and I can advise whether or not removing the SAFC will help your situation.

1-just park your car in a field somewhere and leave it there.
2-in a few months grass and weeds will grow all around it and in side of it.
3-go back to your car after months past and it will be all better.

the above instructions are about as ridiculous as your ability to clearly communicate your problem.

Yes, it is very hard to understand what you are saying. Please spend some time to properly explain how your problem came.

If you had to shift from 3rd to 4th, then I would suspect there are other problems with your car because you should have blew the Fusion out the water in 3rd gear.

Anyways, back on topic. You can remove the SAFC by removing all the wires connecting the SAFC to the ECU. You will have to reconnect the air flow wire so the ECU gets the air flow signal back.

However, be ready to be disappointed when you remove the SAFC to find out the problem still exist. We can only help by information you give us, so please be more clear and specific with the problem(s) you are having.
