what size tire to go with?

i have an S14 zenki with coilovers and some 17x9.5 +12 rims. right now i have 255/40/17 rt615's all the way around. i want to stretch some new tires and slam my car. im thinking either 235/40/17 or 225/45/17? which would be better? i have all fenders rolled and no pull. any advice?

and to answer your question, i personally would go 225 on a 9.5 but to each his own.

yeah ive been going page by page through that thread. so far im on page 55 of 326 haha, im trying to find a similar set up. im leaning towards the 225's

well that is the aspect ratio. so those sidewalls are actually about the same size.
