the tial 50mm bov is one of the highest performing bovs in terms of the pressure it can hold and the volume of air it can release...
however, this bov should only be applied to high boost applications (20+ psi) as some research will show, most ppl with tials on their street car, 7-15 psi are having problems with either the spring beign too stiff and causing surge (bad) or the spring being too soft and opening the valve at idle (also bad).. ive read of problems in the evo/dsm, miata and honda boards and even from a friend with an rx7
dont get me wrong, the tial is a great product, engineered by the same ppl as garrett and manufactured to the highest standards.. but its excellent performance doesnt suit itself to practical street use
