Moved to Anchorage

Just moved here to Anchorage and looking to see what's up. My work in progress S13 will be here before long. I am working on Fort Richardson as the Raytheon ITAS Rep. I already have met one person here with an S13 LS swap. For my S13 I am looking at dropping in possibly an ARB26 but am not sure, I have had many changes of mind about the powerplant so we will see wher I go when I go there. I do have some of the parts and am planning the 5 lug conversion with Z32 brakes and have plans for getting a set of R33 wheels. I also have started getting suspension stuff together as well as some of the dress up stuff. My plan is to go with midnight purple for the color with black and carbon as the off color on it. It has a long way to go to achieve the desired result, but ya gotta start somewhere. At any rate, I will be doing most of my work at the Auto Craft shop on post as I believe in doing as much as possible using my own hands.

wow are rwd vehicle in alaska useless since it snow alot out there?

Nope, it is not snowbound all year...lol Some of the cars seen here in Anhorage in the past week: Red mid 90's Lotus Esprit Turbo, Yellow late model Acura NSX, first gen Viper, Yellow 68 Camaro, Burnt Orange 68 Mustang Fastback and many other classics as well as a nice ooking S13 coupe with a Silvia front end conversion.

The ols beast arrived in good condition and ready for me to begin work. Now if my parts that are in with my furniture load would get here, that would be great.
