Well i went to the mercedes dealership and they had some ml320 sidemarkers in stock. I took a look at um and they look nice, except the reflector/lense part is yellow inside. So the housing is white, but i think it stays on as yellow because the bulb inside is white. I've never actually seen them before? how do they look? Is it possible to make them completely clear?
Or is there another sidemarker that looks completely clear and fairly rectangular / white(clear) and about the same or close to length as the stock s13 sidemarker?
what about this c32 marker?

iirc, legally it shoudl be amber
only white should emit from the front of you car (or reverse lights only for rear)
the rest should be amber...but rear sidemarkers i think have to be red.
with white, you run a higher risk of getting hassled by the police...
check the vehicle code for verification.

Yes they look good amber, but if you want them to be clear just break the amber surrounding inside of the lenses and take it out by pieces. That's what it did, used needle nose pliars.
But yes clear side markers are illegal as well as turn signals, they have to be either amber or red.

If you do decide to shave down the fender, I suggest using a dremel. I used a circular file and kept getting high points in the hole, so it took me a longass time.
You could always take out the amber lense thing and use 194 LED's that emit amber...that'd look cool and be legal
Here's my car:

I no longer have the clear bumber lights, but it looks badass with them!

Incorrect. Its not the color of the bulb, its the fact that you are removing the amber reflex reflector which is required by law.
