I loved every single TER game. 3 was by far my favorite, but the "Drift" ones were fun because they were some of the first actual "drifting" games (if you can call them that cause of the physics, LOL) My friend and I went around to all the Game Stops in the area a couple years back and bought all of the TERs and the D1 game.

genki games all suck with physics

Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix was another game by Genki that was better imo, circuit racing, drift and also wangan mixed into one, awesome music and tuning parts YouTube - R.B. C1 GRAND PRIX OP (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i5sEWHPj_3o)

hey did they ever import Racing Battle C1 Grand Prix (http://zilvia.net/f/#) to the us? i cant seem to find it anywhere and all i can find is vids of it but cant find the game its self. do i need to mod my ps2 to play it?

I got into TXR series with 3 and damn is that game so fun, I am so close to beating it but cannot beat those Nagoya bosses! I also got drift 1 and 2 and they were fun but really hard to actually drift well to get points. I got ITC and was very disappointed. First only a tiny stretch of wangan, just to connect back to the C1, very little choices in cars and highway options. I tried to like it but after playing 3 for years, it just didn't live up. I also hated all the ads everywhere, what realife freeway has that? I'll take the yellow support vans in 3 vs the realistic traffic in ITC.

yes C1 was on ps2, if you have a ps2 fat with a hard drive, download the game, it was import only.

I bought the soundtrack a few years ago when it was like $12 or so, guess it went up lol

I bought tokyo extreme racer drift (1) a few years back. I still play it every now and again.

If you can set your car up right, drifting is pretty easy.

The last one I know of is Import Tuner Racer on 360. Updated version of the 1st ever TXR on DC imo.

I wish they would come out with one right at this time...would be soo awesome! I think I have all the games except the Wangan one.

thanks hyper but i just picked up a g25 for 100 bucks stil in the box. he said his kid tryed his buddys wheel and it was to hard for him so the dad never took it out of the closet and set it under the tree for the holidays and lost the recipt. so hooked it up and works great. to bad the clutch feature doesnt work for txrd2 and neither does the h pattern shifting. it does work great for gt5 tho. spent the day clutch kicking for no reason. only thing i dont like about the g25 is when you shift its hard to feel if your in gear when using the h pattern.

I still have mine haha I have Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero, TERD, TERD2, I got terds hahaha I have a 180sx and AE86 in the drift games and zero RX-7s and a CRX.

I play this game almost daily - as well as run a forum for the whole game series.

I don't think the physics suck, but to each his own. The game just has a steep learning curve - but once you know how to tune the cars the game becomes much more entertaining.

Definitely the best touge game I've seen. I only wish the Japanese version didn't get all the extra goodies.
