@Teddy, I started a similar thread a few years back on my small native Dutch sx owners club board when I was reeaally bored. It stretches to 27 pages with a lot of chatting in between. I was the main contributor together with chino4real who is also a member there. Unfortunately some pictures are not up anymore. For example there is a s13 hatch out there somewhere with a mitsubishi colt frontend crudely mimicking the sil80 look :D.

I know its not a complete conversion but its diffenent and I have yet been able to Identify its maker but here is FRP Kouki type x front rep with lip incorperated and acura nsx signals. Its mine and Ive never been able to Identify the maker. Ok, so I have been wanting to do a conversion of some type.
I have an 90 s13 HB.
These are the 3 i have considered.
Of course there are some Pros and cons for each.
S30 front= Classic (old) look, but high speed instability and .467 .cd
S130 front= not as Classic (newer) but more high speed stability .385 cd
Silvia hood = different look, cd .30, and NO POP ups.

What do you guys think?

I prefer s13 Zenki but with an aftermarket that eliminates the pignose.

btw, for those asking, the front is very easy to fit. you cut a small section out of the core support behind the headlights so they fit, and do some drilling. there's a write up on the Spirit Rei site. it's all in japanese, but with the pictures they have, you won't need to read it.

Depends on who you order it from, their U.S. distributor is in like Florida or some east coast state and they charge 8k. If you have some one that can order stuff for you from Japan its like $5,400 or so, not including import fees or shipping. You would probably save something like $1,000 or so getting it your self

what's half-assed about it? he didn't leave the front end primered like half the cars on zilvia. Just because it has a unique paint design on it doesn't mean it's half-assed. In fact, it would take even less work to just respray the front end back to stock color.

While you make valid points, but I'll tell you where you messed up. Yes he has a unique paint job, but he should of repainted the whole car, which would of been easier to do than paint match a color if you have never done that before. But what he did was less work than painting a WHOLE car, or paint matching the front end. Therefore ASS, cut in half.

And... actually I think what ever magazine was hating on it, was hating on it when it had the shitty version of the 'unique' paint job... you know... primer.
