Hmm...I dont remember seeing them out this winter. Usually, they come out with a certain flavor for every season. Strawberry kit-kat is usually out in winter.

there sure as shit arent any in Misawa. i just looked for someone else on these boards and i couldnt find any. Misawa does suck balls though, so it wouldnt surprise me if some other city actually had them.

This may be a stupid question but how would they keep from melting if they are being shipped? The only one's I saw on ebay were coming from Japan and from past experience with KitKats the chocolate melts real easily.

that green paste (yuzukoshou) is the zest of the citrus fruit yuzu (citron) mixed with green chilli.

A girl I dated a while back brought me some from Osaka along with berry and green grape flavors.

strawberry tastes like strawberry flavors in YanYans and Hello pandas, berry tastes like berry crunch cereal and grape didn't taste like grape.. lol

i need to date another japanese girl so i can tell her to bring me some more goodies when she goes to japan. hahaha. i really want to try red bean kit kats.

Yeah, I was disappointed by that, but they do carry some interesting Korean stuff and upstairs has some cool household goods from Korea and Japan. At least there is still the Marukai (for downtown/jtown).

I think those strawberrys in the original post are sparkling strawberry (that leaves with with a fizzy feeling on your tongue). The regular strawberry ones came out a long time ago, but the sparkling one was fairly recent.

I got some of those raspberry passion fruit ones. They're good, but they're a promo item from valentines day. On the back of them, you'll see a little spot where you can write a note "Dear:" and "From:" so you can hand them out as gifts to your co-workers or school friends (girls to guys on Valentine's day in Japan)

For current special edition Kit Kats currently onsale in Japan, you can check out KIT KAT BREAKTOWN -??? ?????? ???????- (http://www.breaktown.com/) (Nestle's Japanese kitkat site). I was able to order some soy sauce kit kats from that site last year (but not delivered to the US, I still had to have someone bring it over)

they did not taste like soy sauce at all. It was still sweet, but I can't really describe the flavor (it was good--and all the girls that I gave one to like them too even though they were all skeptical about such an odd flavor for a kit kat)

I wish I could get a kit kat vending machine (like in the recent commercials here in the US) and load it up with special editions
