I had an 85 nissan truck 5-speed (extended cab) w/ a custom wood bed Which was only coated in a clear coat stuff (shelak??), and some after market 15x8 Bullet hole brushed aluminum wheels. There were two Grey Power Bucket seats from an 80 something Corvette bolted in place of the previous seats (Talk about some Great seats.. mmmm.). And the trim inside was painted with that Texture paint in a green/white/grey color. The front end was lowered, and it had been painted with a brush a dark blue. So there were random runs in the paint. Me and my friend put some custom grey Pin striping on it too. The back windows had tint in them that had turned purple from age, and amonia. Super phat dope ride yo. I had SOOO Many memories in that car.

I ended up Blowing the engine racing an integra on the highway. I was doing about 115 for about 5-6 min. I was blowing TONS of smoke. It wouldn't stay running unless I kept the gas pressed. I got home and looked under the hood, and the water pump was literally Hanging off the front of the motor. Needless to say. No more coolant in engine. The top two bolts were Sheared off. (hard to make up an excuse to my parents) Mecahnic checked it, and I had lost ALL compression on all 4 pistons. We replaced the engine and she never ran the same. Sold her 2 weeks later. Poor baby. I miss her.

BTW- I beat the integra. (it was an old one)

1989 Mitsubish Precis with 230k mi on the body and 130 on the motor. That car couldn't go a week without breaking down, so I told my dad he was going to drive it and I took his car. His car was by no means a prize, it was a 91 Mercury Topaz (Ford Tempo incognito) but it got me from A - B without breaking down.

Black 1994 Chevy S10 Super Sport. Had a Vortec 4.3L V6. 3 in. drop in the front, 5 in. drop in the back, with some 16x8 chrome wheels. Only mod to the engine was a drop-in K&N air filter. I loved the truck. Nothing ever went wrong with, except the alternator went bad one time, no big deal. I gave that truck #### too went I first got it. Power braking (put out hella smoke), donuts, you name it, no off roadin' though. It started to lose a little power before I sold it. I was irresponsible, not changing the oil regularly and stuff (shame on me, I know ). I bought it in '97 for like $8,500, then trade it for my even more loved and better taken care '97 240sx SE. I got $5,400 for trade in three years later and it had 125,000 miles on it! I thought that was pretty good considering another car lot was only gonna give me like $3,200 for it.
But even when my S10 SS was running good I don't think it could hang with my 240sx.

1990 Nissan Sentra "Sports Coupe" odd how it was called a sports coupe cuz it was a hatchback... and I couldnt find any sport in the #### thing either. Fun little car though. It was like new when i got it. 50k miles, not a scratch on her. Weak ass 1.6L 5spd. like 90hp I think. But ####, Those E-Brake slides were hella fun.

This isnt my car, but its the only pict I could find online of it. I never saw to many of these rollin around.

hey EONE, seems like we have somethign in common.
I also had a chevy cavalier
I also had no A/C
I also had no heat
it was a 90 though, and I never found out how many miles the son of a bitch had, cause the meter was fucked up somehow.
I would drive around the block, and it would add miles to my shit. That peice of shit would brake down once a month at least. The death of it was when the #### head gasket blew.
The funny part of that car was it didnt have a guage to tell me if the car was hot or cold. I never if the car was ready or not, what a hunk of junk.

A 1990 Subaru Legacy four speed auto. Big ugly station wagon, but suprised people with the power it had. It wasn't AWD, but I took corners like it was which I messed up the CV-boot a couple of times. It also had no a/c and leaked from the sunroof, but all and all it was an okay first car.

well, it was just my mom and me at the time and we had two vehicles but we swapped them out every now and then so it was either/both:
1985 jeep cj-7 or
1985 fiero GT (2.8L v6) even tho that car had mad problems it was still pretty fast and it made an awesome exhaust note.

rabbit, i would love to have an old 240z. i bet you did have a lot of fun with it. would love to find one and restore it and put a chevy small block v8 in it.

86 Honda Accord with carb

Mods - immaginary cat-back exhaust. Well actually the whole exhaust from the cat, back, fell off after i got some wicked air in the car. Drove it arround like that for 5 months. It actually wasn't that loud.

The car also did pretty well off-road. The car held up well considering all the crazy shit i did to it. I'm considering getting annother one as my daily driver.

Im not sure, the first (legally) road registerable car I owned was a Peugot 504 1971, weighed about 1500kg, twin carbie 2L 4cylinder, independant suspension and 4wheel discs all round. It could be made to go fast, the fact I destroyed 2 engines in it was testimony to that, apart from that it was roomy, extreamly comfortable and probably one of the best handling cars for what it was.

Around that time I was destroying a Leyland mini and doing up a Ford escort Mk1 coupe for rally, I succeded with both cars, utterly destroying both of them is some airbourne shennigans involving large rocks, pine trees and high speed.

I miss the escort, the rest just sucked, but for I think the total amount of money I spent on all three would have been less than $2000 and it was a lot of fun.
