it happened, on saturday night, i was driving minding my own business, and someone (domino's delivery driver, made a left turn 5 feet infront of me, as if he didn't see my super bright HID lights or what. and now i feel dead, my baby got kissed by a honda.

the more i see it the more sick i get. and i can't even think about another shell, but i need one, but it won't be the same. or will it?

so i went to see her in the day time and

i just need some help, i dunno, it held a sentimental value cause a friend of mine who is no longer here took me to get it...
anyways, watch out for stupid people driving hondas

sorry to hear that...

accidents happen..they're never fun.

Take a piece of the car and put in your new car as a token of the sentimental value. Best of luck!

Sorry for your loss. It looks bad, but it also looks like there's plenty that salvageable to put into a new shell. It sucks losing something with so much sentimental value, but grab some other frineds and make new memories as you build your new car. Make it a great blend of the new and the old all in one package...

Sorry for your loss.

Thank you, lol.

Sorry to see that... it always sucks when your pride and joy is taken away due to someone else's neglect and carelessness. Never a good feeling... best of luck with the situation.

Sucks dude. But if your radiator support took the brunt of the damage you could always swap it out and get a new front end. Just thinking out loud.

Good luck finding another shell though if you go that route.

why dont you just have it fixed? i work at a bodyshop and see new cars get whole new sides and what not, welding in a new rad support wont be to much.

happened to me too man. Stupid bus on the inside lane told a person in the opposing lane he could turn left. Turns out I was on the outside lane driving past the bus when the jeep hit me and ruined my mint 95 SE....only having it for three months made it easier to swallow, but I'm not gonna lie, I cried a little.

I was going to say that, too, but thought maybe this wasn't the proper place, since those dudes were trying to be nice....

Anyway, the lack of grammar and spelling on here continues to amaze me....

Well, when you can buy another whole chasis that doesn't need to be repaired for $500 or so there isn't much of a point to fix it. I welded in my own core support on my car, but the aprons were perfect. His aprons will need to be pulled for sure. I could fix his chasis, but not for $500 with fenders and everything...

lol skally wag, i eat bug's
but i was going to say the same thing.
it's just a car, look at things in a different perspective and you realize you can always get another one. not the end of the world.

i know.... its weird.. i might do it, though, but now this is an opportunity to get something else...

i'll probably end up transfering many of the parts from this car over to the next car.

You're from Omaha, Nebraska. You are in NO position to call ANYBODY a retard.

Retardville, USA.

Anyway, I was jaykay, bro. Good luck with whatever decision to make whether go to a totally different car or swap your stuff over to a new shell.

you could always keep it. get some pile of a car to drive and fix it yourself on the side. it dosent matter how many pieces of it you put on another car itl never be the same.

chiboy002
04-29-2010, 09:29 PM
man im sorry for ur loss. i hate losing things that have sentimental value to it. in my opinion just take as many parts off the car as you can, and something from it that meant alot to you in memory of your friend. i wouldn't so much say to rebuild a new one exactly the same, because then your kinda replacing your memories you kno? but if u really want u can buy it back and rebuild it. good luck man, best of wishes and it'll be better soon. At least you weren't hurt in the accident, you could've been in a worse position.

04-29-2010, 09:31 PM
that's deff. salvageable. A van smashed a buddy of mines hatch. the damage to his car was far worse than yours and we cut off half the engine bay right before the shock towers. that weekend we went to the junkyard and cut what we needed off the junkyard car and welded it on his car that day. two days later his car was back on the road. we brought it to a frame shop to make sure the frame was straight and it was all good. we had a spare front end lying around too so that cut down on the cost in the end.

don't give up all hope on your car. it's fixable.

hope everything works out in your favor!

damn, that sucks!! well like everyone said. glad to hear your ok. I say you keep it and rebuild it, considering it has sentimental value.. and thank you to whoever was the first to correct the grammar from the first few posts haha.. at least they were being positive tho..keep your head up guy!
