So my car has been having trouble starting lately especially when its cold. Sometimes i would have no power going through out the whole car so i open my door and power comes back on. After that i ran my car on the freeway home and stop at a light and my car suddenly dies and starts back up. When the car died it still had power as in electricity. I checked my battery and it still has alott of life i just got my started replaced about 2 months ago. Can this be a grounding problem ? and suggestions ?

Well it might be a bad ground but also check your alternator. It sounds like its getting ready to leave you stranded. Also make sure you have no corrosion on your terminals going to the battery if so clean them or replace the cables themselves. Good luck

it be kinda good to see where all the grounds are at...just for reference.

and also, to check your alternator, disconnect the ground from the battery while youre car is running, if it dies, then your alternator is giving out.

*a lot of people say its not good to disconnect the battery cuz it might f*ck up you ecu, but ive always done it this way, and never had problems. so do it at your own risk.

also, when you turn your ignition on, your battery indicator on the dash should turn on. if it doesnt, then the bat or the alternator might not be working.
