That town scares me. Random story about Shamrock, TX. I bought a MKIV Supra in Arizona and was driving straight back to Minnesota, so we were driving through the night. We ended up stopping in Shamrock, and the gas station literally looked like it was out of Texas Chainsaw Massacre, since all of the products were old and dusty, etc. The 70 year old creepy guy asked us if the car was AWD, and I swear I heard a chainsaw start up! haha, ok maybe not that far, but it was creepy.

it's a last model year (1980, built 1979) so it's fuel injected. First fuel injected Japanese car sold in the USA supposedly.

It's an auto transmission but it was rebuilt (1800 bones) and works perfectly.

Previous owner told me it had a top end job but all I can say is that it runs great.

It's not perfect though as you would expect...

it has NO RUST except a couple tiny paint chips.
it does have some dings on the body, the paint job is a 10 footer.
Hood has a dent that can be popped out. Previous owner accidentally ran into something small and damaged the front driver side corner and it was repaired, but doesn't look perfect at all from up close. Just trying to be nitpicky and tell you all the details.

new plugs, wires, distributor cap, air filter, catback exhaust with magnaflow muffler and nice tip on it. Cut stock springs (i have original springs too)

I have a spare steering column for it. Someone tried to steal it before I owned it and busted out a window ( i replaced window) and messed with steering column. Runs and drives fine but the column has play that's why I have a new one.

Everything works in the car except the A/C needs a recharge.

signals, lights, radio, heat, wipers, etc

interior is pretty good except a couple cracks on original dash, and the seats are kinda torn up since its an old car.. could do with reupholstering.

also got parts to go with it like new fuel filter, valve cover gasket, and a few other things, spare headlight trim ring, etc

all power windows work and power locks work.

To be honest with u, I would. They r great cars when u know about them. The problem with most m30's r kids by themthi king they r s13's n hack the he'll out of them n go broke n try n sell em for more than their worth. Ur car is clean man n it'll hold it's value. I'd hang on to it for a while. Then u can roll out to Cali n come cruise with bill n Eduardo n all of us lol
