orange hose on transmission??

I was just wondering if the hose connected to anything? I'm trying to figure out if i forgot to connect it to something or not so i was wondering if i could get some help on what to do with it
its a long orange hose from the rear of the transmission to the front
im pretty much lost what to do with it because it just dangles :ugh:

hang it up wards ad the open end hangs down... Its a transmission fluid overflow drainage...

its a breather, it bolts to the bellhousing. or where ever you want. just make sure its not clogged with dirt or you can blow seals in the tranny.
