shit i heard it held up to 999,999,999,999,999,999,999.
lol jk man.
im pretty sure the amount of hp you have isnt gonna break the diff.
my friends sr had around 350 hp and worked perfectly fine.
but, imo i think its 999,999,999,999,999,999.

First one must ask how much power u have? And how much u want??? I font believe their is a set number on exact hp it can hold, because other variables can come into play

Hinsonsupercars uses one in there ls1 s14 and I think they are running a turbo.
I've never had problems with mine but I'm only running 14psi on a stock sr.

yeah i was wondering cuz im doin an ls1 swap but i also heard 2ways arent really nessesary unless im doin hardcore drifting where im using my ebrake to initiate my drifts and transitioning in to my next turn? i waz gonna start with a welded or my R33 VLSD before i fork out 900

VLSD=Fail vlsd`s in my opinion are only good for the accasional fun in the rain ,and anything more than that and they`re gona eventually break......jus my cents..
Jus get yourself a GOOD welded.

Why do you say they'll break? I use a J30 on my S14 and can definitely initiate and maintain with only a KA.

I don't think u gotta worry about ur diff breaking maybe ur axles but 240sx axles can hold up pretty good
Vlsd is awesome for daily driving and a little fun eventually they do wear out

Once you get more power you will find that your wheels will spin at wildly different speeds and they are terribly inconsistant.
I dont know anyone that is unhappy with their kaaz or tomie 2 way

just remember if ya do get a brand new 2way you HAVE too break it in by sliding for at least 30mins... and change that fuild often and your diff will love you! i recommend MOTUL PA90 GOOD shit and its cheap!

I did 30 mins of figure 8s. Well i did a few mins, my brother did a few mins, and then one of my friends. That shit is boring.......
I use cheap coastal gear fluid (cant remember the weight without looking at the bottle) and it dont have any lsd additives in it. I put an entire bottle of ford friction modifier in a 2 stroke mixer syringe and inject it in before pumping the gear lube in.
It works great. I used to have to change the fluid often but it just keeps getting better and better.
